Our second Tech Terrors lunch meeting of 2019 was a magnificent mad adventure…
We had some dedicated Breakers performing a Tech Autopsy on our tri-color laser printer and managed to “decorate” the hallway a bit in the process! π
We had the PRUSA 3D printer with us and Mike “Hot Plate’ V. ran our 3D printing terrors through prepping their first print…the Flexi Rexi..which we’ll actually start printing next week…
…if they dare compete with Glenn’s Dad and his amazing laser spiders, that is!
Huge thanks to the Terrors and parents that have provided us even more amazing Tech Autopsy victims…including an “Old adding machine” that really messed with the Terror’s heads! π .

ELECTRONIC CALCULATOR
complete with gorgeous NIXIE TUBE DISPLAY!

And please do let me know if you have any old electronics, toys or computers kicking around that you think might be of interest to the Terrors!
Some of our terrors got the EZ Robot humanoid up and running watching them work with its camera and even used the advanced motor controller to position the arms and legs exactly as we commanded…we also found out how well it survives long falls…very well, it turns out!?
Yet more terrors were all about the drones…and ended up working on tuning an old Millennium Falcon drone to make the library corridor run…in under 12 parsecs…and they failed gloriously! π
Another intrepid band of VFXers showed us how to use Panzoid for some cool YouTube style titles.
Thanks again to Mike and Ron…and all the Terrors…Can’t wait for next week!
